Do you want to live your Scottish roots? Eager to see the parade from the other side—being cheered on instead of cheering? Do you want a unique opportunity to honor our patriots in uniform? Do you love Highland Games and Festivals? Want to be part of a team and improve your musical skills?

If so, you can… You can be a Caledonian.

Whether you already play the pipes or drums or are eager to learn, we are the group for you. Our band and our teaching program will provide you with many unique opportunities for fun, service, education, and camaraderie. Our band is dedicated to serving the community and always bettering ourselves—musically, intellectually, physically, and experientially.

All full members of the band are required to maintain membership in the Caledonian Society of Baton Rouge, our parent organization. (You can download the Membership Application here). (This does not apply to students, but of course membership is encouraged).

To inquire further , please contact Pipe Major Stan Masinter at (225) 927-0252 or email him at livewell@bellsouth.net.
