Caledonian Broadsword Academy Membership Information

The Caledonian Broadsword Academy welcomes any to come learn the art of Highland Broadsword who has the spirit to learn and the maturity and ability required for serious study of martial arts. We accept students of all ages, races, ethnicities, and of either sex. Our organization offers certified instruction in Regimental Highland Broadsword and Singlestick, and will be studying other types of Scottish martial arts as time and experience allow, including: Broadsword and Targe, Highland Knife Fighting, Tomahawk (As used by the Highland Regiments during the French and Indian War), among other arts.

The Academy requires all of its students to maintain membership in the Caledonian Society of Baton Rouge, acquire and maintain their own equipment, and be safe, courteous, and open to learning. In addition, a $2 fee per lesson is also asked to donate to Broadmoor Presbyterian for use of their facilities.
